After 2nd Debate Trump Still In Lead , Fiorina In Second
September 20, 2015 - The latest poll out after the second Republican presidential debate has New York businessman Donald Trump still in the lead with 24%. Meanwhile, the fortunes of former CEO Carly Fiorina have dramatically changed as 
she is now in second place with 15% following what was considered an especially strong performance in the debate.
Coming in a close third is Dr. Ben Carson with 14%. Moving into fourth place is Senator Marco Rubio of Florida with 11%. Coming in at fifth is one time Republican front runner former Florida Governor Jeb Bush with 9%.
Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee find themselves tied at 6% each. In eight place is Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky with 4% following by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in ninth place with 3%.
In tenth place is Ohio Governor John Kasich with 2% followed by former Senator Rick Santorum with 1%.
In one of the biggest developments of the new poll Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker now finds himself polling at less than one percent after his second debate performance was panned by critics. Also polling at less than one percent is former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore, Senator Lindsay Graham of South Carolina, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and former New York Governor George Pataki.
Sanders Catches Hillary In Iowa
September 20, 2015 - Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont has surged to a 1 point lead over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the latest poll out of Iowa. Sanders now has the support of 41% followed by Clinton at 40%.
Clinton has seen her leads in both Iowa and New Hampshire shrink all summer. Whether that's because Sander's message is resonating with voters or because of the ongoing controversy over Clinton's use of a private email account during her time as Secretary of state is yet to be determined.
In a distant third place in the poll is Vice President Joe Biden with 12%. Biden has not officially entered the race for the Democratic presidential nomination but there has been buzz all summer that he may make a late entry. If he were to run for the White House this would be his third try after two unsuccessful attempts in 1988 and 2008.
In fourth place at 3% is former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley , followed by former Senator Jim Webb of Virginia with 1%. Polling at 0% is the former Governor of Rhode Island Lincoln Chafee.
Trump Firmly In Lead In Latest National Poll
September 4, 2015 - As the unofficial end of summer Labor Day weekend arrives New York businessman Donald J. Trump continues to lead the Republican field by a wide margin. In the latest national poll, Trump garners the support of 
30%, with his closest competitor Dr. Ben Carson coming in a distant second at 18%. The release of this latest poll comes on the news that Trump has signed a pledge with the Republican National Committee that he will not run as a third party candidate should he not receive the GOP presidential nomination.
The finish of summer could not come probably fast enough for the third place finisher in the poll former Florida Governor Jeb Bush at 8%. Bush is the candidate in the race who during the last two months has been in engaged in on going war of words with Trump. In effort to begin a climb back in the polls , the Bush campaign is planning a major advertisement campaign for mid September.
In other poll numbers Senator Ted Cruz of Texas came in also at 8% followed by Senator Marco Rubio of Florida at 5%. Scoring in the top 10 with 4% former CEO Carly Fiorina is now expected to be on the main stage at the next Republican presidential debate scheduled for September 16 at the Reagan Library in California. Also at 4% is former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker who once regularly placed in the top three of national polls now finds himself in the back of the pack at 3%.
In a three way tie at 2% each are Ohio Governor John Kasich, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky. At 1% is former Texas Governor Rick Perry. The remaining candidates in the race failed to score about 1%.
Carson and Trump Tied In Latest Iowa Poll
September 1, 2015 - Dr. Ben Carson has surged into a tie with New York businessman Donald Trump in the latest poll out of Iowa. Carson and Trump each polled at 23% far outpacing the other 15 Republicans running for president. In a 
surprising third place is former CEO Carly Fiorina who came in third with 10%.
That Carson, Trump and Fiorina combined for 53% of those polled is an apparent rebuke of traditional politicians. While many of the other candidates have years if not decades of elective service on their resumes, Carson , Trump and Fiorina have never held elective office.
The rest of the field finds Senator Ted Cruz of Texas with 9%, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker with 7% and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush with 5%.
Tied at 4% each is Ohio Governor John Kasich and Senator Marco Rubio of Florida with Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky with 3%.
The 2008 winner of Republican Iowa Caucus former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and the 2012 winner also of the
Iowa Caucus former Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania are all knotted up at 2%.
The remaining candidates , New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, former Texas Governor Rick Perry and former New York Governor George Pataki are all registering at 1% or less.
Latest Polls Have Good News For Hillary in Iowa, Bad News In New Hampshire
August 26, 2015 - Two new polls out show former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leading by a wide margin in Iowa but trailing in New Hampshire. In Iowa, Clinton had the support of 54% , followed by Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont with 20%, Vice President Joe Biden at 11% ,former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley with 4% and former Senator Jim Webb of Virginia with 1%.
In more good news out of Iowa for Clinton, she has picked up the endorsement of U.S Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack who also is the former Governor of Iowa. The Vilsack endorsement comes at a perfect time for Clinton as rumors swirl that Biden may enter the presidential race.
In New Hampshire, Clinton finds herself in the unusual position of being in second place to Sanders. Of those polled , Sanders had the support of 42% followed by Clinton with 35%, Webb at 6%, O'Malley with 4% and former Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee with 2%. This particular poll did not include Biden in the survey.
