Trump , Clinton Contine to Lead In Latest Polls
October 2, 2015 - New York businessman Donald Trump and former Secretary of State of Hillary Clinton continue to lead all challengers in the latest national polls.
With the the so called "Summer of Trump" now in the history books, Trump as he heads into the fall continues to lead the race for the Republican Party 2016 presidential nomination.
Trump has the support of 23% of those polled followed by Dr. Ben Carson and former CEO Carly Fiorina tied at 13%. Senator Marco Rubio is in fourth place with 9% followed by fellow Floridian former Florida Governor Jeb Bush at 8%.
In sixth place is Senator Ted Cruz with 6% followed by Ohio Governor John Kasich , former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky at 2% each.
The following candidates earning 1% each are New Jersey Governor Chris Christie ,Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and Senator Lindsay Graham of South Carolina.
Scoring zero percent in the poll was former Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania and former New York Governor George Pataki.
On the Democratic of the field where Clinton has seen herself fall behind Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont in both Iowa and New Hampshire, Clinton nationally has the support of 41% followed by Sanders at 23%.
Vice President Joe Biden who is not in the race at this time is at 20% followed by former Rhode Island Lincoln Chafee at 1%. The other two Democrats in the race former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley and former Senator Jim Webb of Virginia registered at less than 1%.
