Walker Exits Presidential Race
September 22, 2015 - Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker ended his White House bid yesterday after a presidential run that lasted just 71 days. The early demise of the Walker campaign was due to his two debate performances which were viewed as being lackluster which led to his fundraising drying up.
For early parts of the year Walker was in the top three of candidates for the Republican nomination and other polls had him leading in all the important state of Iowa. Donald Trump's entry into the race soon eclipsed Walker which saw the three time elected Governor of Wisconsin drop in national polls and Iowa.
The final strike for Walker came on Sunday when a new national poll out showed that he was now polling at less the one percent , which would of put him into jeopardy of being excluded from the main stage at the next debate.
