Christie Launches Presidential Campaign
June 30, 2015 - Ending months of speculation New Jersey Governor Chris Christie officially launched his presidential campaign today at a rally held at Livingston High School in Livingston NJ where Christie was a student.
Speaking in his familiar town hall style format, Christie promised that he would "tell it like it is" which is also his campaign slogan.
Once a rising Republican star, Christie has scene his popularity decline since the George Washington Bridge Scandal came front and center in January of 2014. Following the rally , Christie traveled to New Hampshire where he will campaign through the July 4th weekend.
Christie has his work cut out for him as he currently finds himself in ninth place in an average of national polls with a rating of 4%.
