Bernie Leads , Biden Fades , Bloomberg Rises In Latest National Polling
February 14, 2020 - The Iowa Caucuses and New Hampshire Primary are in the rear view mirror as the race for the Democratic presidential nomination moves onto to Nevada and South Carolina. The latest national polling shows that Senator Bernie Sanders has gotten a bounce out of New Hampshire and now leads nationwide with 29%. Up next up is former Vice President Joe Biden who comes in a distance second at 19%. This is a quite a change in fortunes for Biden who led the race through out 2019.
Coming in a third place is a surging former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg with 18%. While Biden's fall in the polls is remarkable , equally stunning is Bloomberg rapid rise who now find himself in the top tier of candidates. While Bloomberg has bypassed the first four states , he is waging an intense nationwide campaign for the states that vote on Super Tuesday , March 3 and beyond.
Fresh off his close second place finish in New Hampshire , former South Bend , Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg is fourth with 11% , followed by Senator Elizabeth Warren at 10% and and Senator Amy Klobuchar at 5%.
Next up on the calendar is the Nevada Caucuses that take place on February 22 , 2020.
