December 3, 2019 - Senator Kamala Harris of California ended her run for the White House today. Despite a candidacy that began with much optimism , Harris has struggled for months to raise the  financial resources needed for a run for the presidency.

This week a new poll illustrated that Harris's campaign was headed in the wrong direction , when new entrant to the Democratic race for the presidential nomination former Mayor New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg scored 6% to just 2% for Harris.

In an email to supports Harris wrote " So here's the truth today. I've taken stock and looked at this from every angle , and over the last few days have come to one of the hardest decisions of my life. My campaign for president simply doesn't have the financial resources to continue."

While Harris White House bid has come to an end , it likely that whoever becomes the nominee for the Democrats will have Harris on their short list for the vice presidency.
