New New Hampshire Poll Shows Bush in the Lead
May 7, 2015 - The latest poll on the New Hampshire Republican Presidential Primary shows former Governor Florida Jeb Bush in the lead with 15%. Next at a close second is Senator Marco Rubio of Florida with 12%.
In third place is Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker with 11% followed by Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky with 10%.
Despite Bush being in the lead, the primary is really up for grabs at the moment considering that the poll measured the strength of 20 potential GOP White House Contenders.
One of the 20 taking a slice of the pie is Senator Ted Cruz of Texas in 5th place with six percent of the poll. Next up is business entrepreneur Donald Trump with 5%, followed by Dr. Ben Carson, former CEO Carly Fiorina and former Texas Governor Rick Perry all at 4%.
Tied at 3% is former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. This new poll on New Hampshire is particularly bad news for Christie considering he was polling at 9% in the same poll back in February of this year. Christie is scheduled to make a two day swing through New Hampshire for a potential presidential run this week.
Coming is at 2% in the poll are Louisianan Governor Bobby Jindal, former New York Governor George Pataki, and former Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania. Tied at 1% are Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Ohio Governor John Kasich.
Other names that the were polled but failed to register any significant support were New York Congressman Peter King, former Maryland Governor Bob Ehrlich, former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore and former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton.
