New Jerseyans Not Loving Christie For President
December 12, 2014 - A new poll out reveals that the people of New Jersey are not thrilled by idea of their Governor Chris Christie running for president.
Christie has the support of 44% of Garden State voters , while 50% of those polled say he should not run for president.On whether or not Christie would make a good president, 40 % of those asked said yes, while 53% said he would not.
Despite being re-elected by a landslide in November of 2103, the poll shows Christie losing to Hillary Clinton in New Jersey by a margin of 39% for Christie to 50% for Clinton.
New Jersey has been friendly turf for the Clinton's as President Bill Clinton carried the state twice in 1992 and 1996. Hillary Clinton won the New Jersey presidential primary against Barack Obama in 2008.
Christie has said that he expects to make a decision about running for president sometime in early 2015.
