April 30, 2014 - Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky  leads a long list of Republicans presidential hopefuls in the latest presidential poll.

In an apparently tight race Paul has the supports of 15% of those polled followed by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee at 14%, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan both at 12% and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie at 9%.

The second tier of potential Republican presidential nominees is Senator Ted Cruz of Texas at 7%, Senator Marco Rubio of Florida at 6%, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and Texas Governor Rick Perry both at 5% and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal a 2%.

The poll also looked at one potential 2016 General Election match up of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton vs. former Governor of Florida Jeb Bush.The results of the poll showed that Clinton leads Bush 53% to 41%.
