Clinton Leads Dems By Wide Margin as Christe Falls To Third Place Among GOP Hopefuls
January 30, 2014 - Start collecting those Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign buttons as the former Secretary of State has the support of an astounding 73% of Democrats and Democratic trending independents in the latest presidential poll. Mrs. Clinton's closest competitor is Vice President Joe Biden as 12% followed by Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts with 8%.
The new poll shows that the Bridgegate scandal continues to have an effect on New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's poll numbers as he has now fallen to third placed among potential 2016 Republican presidential candidates.
Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan is the leader with 20% of those polled , followed by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush with 18% followed by Christie with 13%.
Rounding out the Republican presidential hopeful field is Senator Ted Cruz of Texas with 12%, Senator Rand Rand Paul of Kentucky with 11% and Senator Marco Rubio of Florida with10 percent
