February 28 , 2024 - The results from the Michigan presidential primary are in and the front runners continue to roll. Former President Donald Trump beat former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley by a margin of 68.1% to 26.5%. On the Democratic side President Joe Biden scored 81% to 13.2% for those voters who choose to remain uncommitted.

There was one surprise in the Democratic primary however when Activist Marianne Williamson scored 3% of the vote to 2.7% for Congressman Dean Phillips. As Williamson had dropped out of the race some weeks ago , Phillips came in behind a candidate that is no longer running.

Next up on the primary calendar is Super Tuesday on March 5 when some 16 states will be holding primaries.
