October 8 , 2020 - With the conclusion of last nights debate between Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kamala Harris there are 26 days left to election day , November 3 ,2020. There have been many twists and turns in the 2020 race including just last week when President Donald Trump tested positive for Covid 19. What will happen in the remaining days  is anyone's guess.

As of today the state of the race finds an average of polls showing former Vice President receiving 51.9% to 42.1% for President Trump. There is a second presidential debate scheduled for October 15 which the Commission on Presidential Debates announced this morning would be held virtually. The change to virtual debate with the candidates in separate locations , has been initially rejected by Trump. In the coming week it is yet be seen if any disagreements on the staging of the debate can be worked out.
