Trump and Hillary Lead In Latest South Carolina Primary Polls
February 15, 2016 - New York Businessman Donald Trump has a big lead in the polls with under a week to go to the Republican presidential primary in South Carolina on Saturday February 20.
Trump has the support of 42% followed by Senator Ted Cruz in a distant second place with 20%. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida is in third place with 15%%.
Fresh off his second place showing in the New Hampshire primary, Ohio Governor John Kasich finds himself in fourth place with 9%. Tied at 6% each are former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Dr. Ben Carson.
On the Democratic side former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton finds herself in the lead with 59% of the vote followed by Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont with 40%. The Democrats will hold their primary one week after the Republicans on Saturday February 27.
