Al Gore Campaign Buttons

Al Gore Campaign Buttons.  Available here are a wide selection of Al Gore campaign buttons, the 2000 Democratic Presidential nominee and who served as the 45th Vice President of the United States (1993–2001), under President Bill Clinton. Though Gore won the popular vote in 2000 he did not earn the 270 presidential electoral votes needed, and thus lost the election to George W Bush. Gore won his first political office when  in 1976 he was elected to the the United States Congress from Tennessee. In 1984, Gore was elected to the United States Senate from Tennessee. Pictured are campaign buttons for Gore and his vice presidential running mate Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman. In the President Bill Clinton section of campaignbutton-etc there is a number of campaign buttons that feature both Clinton and Gore from their campaigns of 1992 and 1996.
