Bush Has Lead In Latest 2016 Poll

 

Jeb Bush for president campaign button. June 22, 2015 - After officially announcing last week that he was a presidential candidate, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush is leading his fellow Republicans in the 2016 race for the GOP nomination. Bush has the support of 22% of those polled followed by Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker with 17%.

In third place is Bush's fellow Floridian Senator Marco Rubio with 14%. This poll is consistent with other polls that show at the moment the race for the Republican nomination is between Bush, Walker and Rubio. However since their level of support is not overwhelming it is encouraging the roughly dozen other Republicans in the race that the nomination is very much up for grabs.

In fourth place is Dr. Ben Carson with 11% followed in fifth place by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee with 9%. Huckabee is no stranger to presidential politics as he ran in 2008 and won the Iowa caucuses.

In sixth place is Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky with 7% followed by former Governor Rick Perry with 5%. Tied for eight place are Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie with 4% each.

Only ten participants will be invited to the first GOP presidential debate to be held in August in Cleveland. In this all important tenth place if former CEO Carly Fiorina who right now has a real shot to be included in the first presidential debate should she be able to hold onto the tenth spot. Fiorina is currently at 2%.

The next six candidates in the poll are those that are facing the very real possibility that they may not be included in that first debate. In a three way tie for eleventh place with 1% each are real estate entrepreneur Donald Trump, Senator Lindsay Graham of South Caroline and Ohio Governor John Kasich.

Rounding out the bottom of the poll and scoring zero percent of support are Louisianan Governor Bobby Jindal, former Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania and former New York Governor George Pataki.

Trump Enters 2016 Republican Race For The White House

Donald Trump for President 2016 campaign button. June 16, 2015 - Declaring that " I will be the greatest job president God ever created," real estate entrepreneur Donald Trump officially entered the race for the White House during a speech that he gave in New York.

Trump, 69, had suggested for years for that he would run for president. This will be Trump's first run for elective office. National polls currently have Trump in 9th place with 3.6% of the vote which would qualify him for the first Republican presidential debate to be held in August.

Hillary To Hold First Major Rally Of Campaign At FDR Park In New York City.

All that will change on June 13 when Clinton will hold a major kick off rally at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park in New York City.

The park located on Roosevelt Island is a memorial to FDR's 1941 "Four Freedom's Speech" where he outlined that people everywhere in the world ought to enjoy freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want and freedom from fear.

In the race for the 2016 Democratic Party nomination the lasted poll shows Clinton with the support of 57% followed by Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont with 11%, Vice President Joe Biden 8%, Senator Elizabeth Warren 7% and former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley with 4%.

Jeb Bush To Launch White House Bid on June 15

Jeb Bush 2016 campaign button. June 5, 2015 - Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has selected June 15 as the date to officially launch his 2016 run for the presidency.

While Bush has been traveling the country since the first of the year exploring a run for the White House , June 15 will mark his official entry in to the race.

The latest poll on the  2016 Republican nomination  finds Bush tied at 12% with Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker followed by Dr. Ben Carson with 11%.

Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky is in fourth place with 9%  followed by Senator Ted Cruz of Texas with 8% and Senator Marco Rubio of Florida with 7%.

Next up is former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee with 6 percent with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie at 5%.

 

 

Latest GOP 2016 Poll Shows 5 Way Tie

Tied at 10% each are former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Dr. Ben Carson, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee , Senator Marco Rubio of Florida and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

In the next tier of candidates is Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky with 7% and Senator Ted Cruz of Texas with 6%. Real estate entrepreneur is next with 5% followed by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie with 4%.

Registering at less than 1% among those polled is former New York Governor George Pataki and former Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania.

Currently there are eight Republicans who have officially announcement that they are running for president, Cruz, Paul, Carson, Fiorina, Rubio, Huckabee, Santorum and Pataki.

Walker 2016 campaign button.Expected to join the growing list of GOP White House contenders in the coming weeks are Bush, Christie, Walker, Perry, Graham, Jindal and Kasich.

While the Republicans could potentially have as many as 15 candidates running , the Democrats are expected to have about 5 with former Senator Jim Webb of Virginia and former Governor Lincoln Chafee joining the already announced candidates of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont and former Governor of Maryland Martin O'Malley.
